I am writing this early this morning as I sit on my bed in a hotel room in SawGrass Florida, a suburb of Miami. I do not even know why I am writing this. Most will be offended that I wrote it, had the chutzpah to publish it and attached my name to it.
Maybe I am just finally done lying to myself. I am not writing this to be liked. I am not writing it for clicks or comfort. I am writing it because I am fucking tired. Not the kind of tired sleep can fix. I am tired deep in my bones. I am tired in my soul.
I am tired of pretending the world is full of confused people just trying to find their way. It is not. Most people are not confused. They are cowards. Most people are not stupid. They have chosen stupidity. And I am done pretending otherwise.
Those who care that what I say is offensive do not count. They never did. The only ones who count are those who still value truth over comfort. Those who can hear hard words and sit with them instead of whining about tone. The rest can go back to hiding in their curated bubbles, pretending everything is fine while the world burns around them.
I spent a year writing It Starts With Gold with Adrian C. Spitters. That book is not for the gutless. It is not for individuals who need safe spaces, pronouns and soft landings. It is for those who can handle having their illusions torn to shreds. We did not write it to make anyone feel good. We wrote it to wake people the fuck up. We exposed the rot. We dragged the truth into the light and made it impossible to unsee. We showed how we have been lied to and how we have lied to ourselves. We laid out what is being planned for humanity by unelected technocrats who see most of us as useless eaters. They are not hiding it anymore. They are telling us what they are going to do. And still, most choose to look away.
That is what horrifies me, and that is what has kept me up at night for the past five years since the March 2020 Scamdemic and Worldwide Lockdowns. It is not just strangers who refuse to see it. These are people I know. People I have cared for. People I have trusted. They laughed. They shrugged. They were uncomfortable with me saying it and writing it out loud. They changed the subject. Not because they disagreed with what we wrote, but because facing the truth means admitting their entire reality is built on lies. And they do not have the strength for that.
Arthur Schopenhauer saw all of this before we did. He lived from 1788 to 1860. He said that most people live in a dream, a world of appearances, where truth is unwelcome because it makes comfort impossible. He was mocked in his lifetime. Ignored. Cast aside. Because he said what needed to be said, and most individuals would rather hate you for telling the truth than hate themselves for believing a lie.
That is where we are now. We live in a society that rewards obedience and punishes awareness. That spits on intelligence and praises mediocrity. Say something real and you are labeled dangerous. Say nothing and you are called reasonable. Most people will choose approval over truth every single time. They will kneel while calling it standing. They will smile while their soul rots. And then they will look at you like you are the problem for pointing it out.
If this offends you, good. You should be offended. You should be sick to your stomach. You should feel the weight of everything you have avoided. Because if this does not bother you, then you are already gone, already dead. But you fear to admit it to yourself. And if all you feel is anger that I said it out loud, then you are part of the problem.
You had your chance, and you chose comfort. You chose the lie. You looked truth in the face and blinked. You chose to kneel while pretending you were standing. You chose the smile over the mirror, the screen over the soul, the lie over your own fucking dignity. You do not count. And I am done pretending you do.
