Trump: Globalist Insider or a Wrecking Ball They Never Expected?
By Peter J. Merrick, TEP® and Adrian C. Spitters, CFP®, co-authors of the international bestseller It Starts With Gold™ and the forthcoming book Guns, Gold & Land™
This analysis continues a series of long-form investigations published in The Merrick Spitters Reset Report™
There is an apparatus that now governs the world without ever appearing on a ballot. It hides behind institutions, beneath treaties, and above accountability. It speaks in policy language and philanthropic slogans, but its function is control. It was not built to serve you. It was built to manage you.
This regime is not about public service. It is about global consolidation of power. It runs through central banks, international finance, media networks, and multinational institutions. Its laws are not passed by parliaments but shaped in private meetings. Its values are not rooted in culture or faith, but in metrics. And its enforcers do not wear uniforms. They wear suits. Expensive ones. These are not leaders. They are parasites in suits.
One of the clearest examples of this class is Mark Joseph Carney. He ran the Bank of Canada, then the Bank of England. He chaired the Financial Stability Board and served as the United Nations Special Envoy on Climate Action and Finance. But more than any title, Carney was a chief architect of ESG, which stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance. Though sold as a way to measure corporate responsibility, ESG is a weaponized scoring system. It rewards companies that align with globalist agendas and punishes those that resist, especially through access to capital. It is not about sustainability. It is about obedience.
Now Carney is Prime Minister of Canada. He was not elected to protect Canadian sovereignty. He was installed to protect the regime that sees sovereignty as a threat. He does not speak for the people. He speaks for the construct. For the system. For the parasites.
This is the same system that Donald J. Trump disrupted. He was never groomed by Davos. He did not graduate from a World Economic Forum pipeline. He was not polished in backrooms or propped up by supranational councils. He came from outside. Loud. Uncontrolled. Uninvited.
From the beginning, Trump clashed with the apparatus. He rejected climate-based economic controls designed to collapse national sovereignty. He tore up multilateral treaties that weakened borders and strengthened global enforcement. He confronted China directly while others were still cashing in on integration. He demanded that allies carry their weight and exposed the imbalance built into the so-called international order.
That kind of disruption could not be allowed. And so the full force of the regime moved against him. Not just political opponents. The intelligence agencies. The media. Foreign governments. Financial institutions. Bureaucracies from every corner of the map worked in unison. Because Trump did not just step out of line. He walked off the plantation.
Of course, he was not perfect. He still worked within the system. He still made deals. He still appointed men who played both sides. But no one ascends to that level without brushing the edges of the regime. You cannot run a superpower without interacting with the infrastructure they control. The planes, the networks, the capital, the energy. All of it is wired into their grid.
Trump is not owned. He is not pure. He is not beyond criticism.
He is disruptive. And that is why they fear him.
Can anyone today be fully free from this apparatus?
Not yet. It owns the financial rails. It shapes the legal frameworks. It sets the boundaries for acceptable speech and controls the tools of enforcement. Step too far outside of it, and you do not just lose your position. You vanish.
Trump did not vanish. He endured. He exposed the faces behind the curtain. He made them bleed narrative and time. And in doing so, he reminded millions that resistance is still possible. That we are not crazy. That we are not alone.
This is not about Trump anymore.
This is about you.
What are you doing?
Are you still believing this system will fix itself? Still pretending your vote will undo a global agenda decades in the making? Still hoping someone else will do the heavy lifting while you wait for normal to return?
We wrote It Starts With Gold because the normal they promised is not coming back. The collapse is not accidental. It is strategic. The rules are not broken. They were built this way. And the only way out is through understanding, action, and the reclamation of sovereignty. Personally. Financially. Nationally.
Trump was never the answer.
He was the alarm.
What you do next is what will matter.
Are you ready?
